Essays Made Easy with Software

Why use software to write?

The question should be…

Why NOT use software to write?

There are many smart people in the world that simply do not write well. They may have trouble organizing their thoughts or they may not understand the basic five paragraph format.

Essay writing software can help.

There was a recent review of an essay writing software program recently in the Writer’s Digest online concerning a software called the Instant Essay Creator…

Some writers have trouble organizing their thoughts into essay format, while others are clueless as to how to write a conclusion. Middle school and high school students often struggle to master the art of writing the standard five-paragraph essays that English teachers love to assign. While there isn’t a writing software program on the planet that can magically transform dull and uninspired writing into an enticing inspirational essay, a quality specialized writing software program such as the Instant Essay Creator is definitely helpful for generating, organizing and developing random thoughts and ideas into a fine essay.

The Instant Essay Creator does not work magic, but it does work hard. What this program does best is guide its user step-by-step through the essay writing process using a template-based program which breaks the essay writing process down into manageable tasks. Using this easy to install program is a breeze, and Sayles, who just happens to be a writer and public school teacher, includes plenty of helpful pointers for assembling, organizing and polishing the standard five-paragraph essay.

The organizational aspects of this program are pragmatic and accessible and will help even the most scattered and disorganized of writers become more focused and productive. Students will benefit greatly from the instructional text, which helps writers develop the critical elements of an essay, such as thesis and point-of-view, while more seasoned writers are certain to appreciate the structured templates, which assist the writer in shaping scattered thoughts into focused and structured sentences and paragraphs.

We’re not talking brain surgery here. What the software basically does is break down the art of essay writing into small steps so that the writer doesn’t feel overwhelmed or get off track. The Instant Essay Creator is not a sophisticated or complex software program, and it doesn’t contain fancy graphics or elaborate illustrations, but it definitely makes the essay writing process less cumbersome and infinitely more accessible.

It won’t instantly churn out elegant prose by the barrelful, but it will guide struggling students through problem areas and it’s a great tool for practicing essay writing. The Instant Essay Creator is a useful tool for battling writer’s block and for increasing overall productivity because it’s a bit like having a writing coach by your side, guiding you along and helping you move forward in the right direction.

What’s the best part of all? It beats staring at a blank page waiting for inspiration to strike!

How to Write Admission Essays

So, the first thing you should do while writing admission essay is to forget general rules for academic papers’ formats and research to support your essay. This is because admission essay introduces you to an admission committee which does not know anything about you except your admission essay writing. They do not care of your knowledge about academic formats and they do not aim to evaluate your research skills. The only thing which might interest them is your way of thinking, analyzing, ideas and original writing.

The following things will help you to prepare for successful admission essay writing:

think about your motivation (why do you want to study the subjects you have chosen? Why are you applying this college/university?)

think of your future skills and knowledge which you are going to gain in order to contribute this area of study (how are you going to develop the main idea of your study purpose? Do you have any plans for your future career? Can you see how you may contribute the college/university during your study?)

be ready to present your ideas originally; think of how you can start your admission essay in order to keep a reader’s interest to your writing up to the end (leave introduction rules away, do not summarize, start your essay with an original question which will draw attention of the admission committee)

think of the topics you can develop from your admission essay (do remember you are going to study and research the topics that interest you for a few years; what topics may be interesting for research and can be developed from your ideas presented in admission essay?)

think of bright and original vocabulary to be used in your essay (you will have to look different if you want to be approved)

While you are thinking about your personal statement development, please do not forget to sketch a preliminary list of topics you would like to research and study. It will help you to present clearer and more perspective personal statement; and it will show the admission committee your idea of considerable contribution into college/university (do remember that a college/university reputation is the primary thing the admission committee care about).

If you have already thought of your original personal statement, perspective ideas, interests, contributions, future research and study topics, outlines and your vocabulary, then you are ready to write.

College Essay Preparation

Submitting a good college essay is another aspect that has to be considered by the high school student who wishes to attend a competitive school. This essay, together with the SAT (see my article on SAT Test Preparation), are two key aspects that must be satisfactorily completed by the college-bound student. Sometimes the college essay is what makes or breaks a student’s chances of getting into the school of his or her choice.

The college essay gives the admissions board a chance to sneak a peek inside the head of the prospective enrollee. Given comparable grades and other “good” qualities, the student with the better essaythe one which is coherent, well thought out, and captivatingwill almost certainly get the nod. Why so? Because the ability to write a good essay shows the admissions board that these students have a number of desirable qualities: that they can communicate effectively in written form; that they can express their thoughts clearly and capture an audience; and that they can infuse their personalities into a written vehicle which becomes an extension of themselves.

Most people know that writing is not an easy thing to do. Most high school studentsindeed most college graduateswould be hard-pressed to write an effective essay on whatever topic. For this reason, students who can generate a well written original college essay will certainly stand out amongst their peers. Writing such an essay, however, is not such an easy task. Even students who have good writing skills would be well served to have some expert assistance. This assistance can be the difference between a ho-hum essay, and a home run.

Someone skilled in college essay preparation can spot banal areas inside the body of the student’s writing, injecting life and color where only gray shades of hazy color abide. Moreover, an appropriate essay mentor will be able to spot and correct faulty non sequiturs, thus smoothing out the overall texture of the essay so that the reader is segued down a winding, colorful valley of enticing scents and sights. This accomplished, the essay is sure to get notice. And why not? The admissions board will certainly see few that fit such stringent criteria of good expressive writing.

Keep such thoughts in mind as your son or daughter engages this terrain. Remember. Given two students of seemingly equal caliber, the essay can make or break the camel’s back of college admission.
